I can't even begin to tell you how amazing it was to meet you. To finally have you in our lives after so long of trying and waiting for you to get here. You were born on March 5th, 2003 at Balboa hospital in San Diego, California. You were not breathing and were rushed to the NICU where you stayed for some time. I never left your side. Dad and I were (and still are) very much in love with you. You didn't like being stuck on a table. Grammie was there for your birth and said "look at him, he hates being stuck on that table. I've never seen a baby want to get up and move so badly". It's very much true. You were trying to roll over before you were even a week old. You were always ahead of the milestone charts for rolling, sitting, and walking.
This is the first time Daddy really got to meet you. After cutting the cord (above) they rushed you away to the NICU.
This photo made us laugh when we saw it later on. This is how you really felt about being stuck on the table :). You can tell how jaundice you were in this photo to.
This was nearing the end of your NICU stay. I love this photo. You are the same size as your teddy bear!
